The Problem with “Just Have Faith”

How often have you heard the phrase, “Just have faith,” in regards to pastors and their financial situation?  In this episode of the EntrePastors podcast Jon and Les talk about this often-used cliche and some of the underlying problems with it.  Even though at first blush this advice sounds very spiritual, there are many other variables to consider when it comes to pastors and their financial wellbeing.  Should we place our faith in God for our ultimate supply and provision?  Of course!  But that’s only part of the equation.  If you’re a pastor who's ever felt frustrated by someone implying you should just continue on in financial lack and scarcity and simply, “just have faith,” this conversation will be an encouragement to you.
