Stepping Into the Chaos with Melissa Hiatt
In this episode Jon and Les sit down with guest Melissa Hiatt to discuss her journey from her role as a staff pastor in her church into ministry in the marketplace. After serving for a while as a pediatric chaplain, Melissa shifted into an entrepreneurial business of her own as a professional speaker and facilitator who serves her clients by bringing a practical expertise and professional skill set to develop the emotional health of individuals, teams, and organizations. Melissa talks about how she has learned to lean into the “seasons of chaos” in her life as she recognizes how God uses those times to graduate her into new opportunities of growth and progress. Melissa also shares the importance of emotional health, self-awareness, and having a coach. Through her story, Melissa encourages leaders to do their own work and be mindful of the impact they have on others.
